The Originator

What motivates me to write a blog? In a nutshell- a Google Chrome ad showing a father sending memories to his daughter on his computer. Of course, the commercial had inspiring music, & the creative way of leaving something to your children got me all excited!!! I instantly thought, I can do that!!! Oddly, an ad to promote technology moved me, but with my procrastinating ways- I just thought and thought and thought of sending cute messages, photos, & videos to my little boy on a weekly basis. But that's all I did- I thought...in fact, that is what I do: I think & add it to my to-do list! Story of my life...

Hell, I buy new memory cards so I don't have to go through the 5 minute process of loading them onto my computer!! Yet FINALLY, I set up an email account for my son and sent my first email to him!!!!  It was a brilliant, heart-felt email.

It has been over a year since I sent that one email. He is now 4 years old with an email account & one whole whopping email in his inbox (to give myself some credit, I have been going to school and produced him a baby brother!). Doesn't EVERYONE do this though?? Have something in the back of their mind for days, weeks, months, and years, but we are busy people....NO we are people who don't know how to manage our time nor prioritize! AMEN!

SO no excuses.

This is not me sending cute love notes to my children, because at the end of the day after the time given to family, school, and LIFE, I need to do something for myself. This is a blog for me to share random thoughts and my life as I see it. To make me feel like I am achieving that original goal for my kids, I will leave a note to my children at the end of every blog post. It is now time to go play PocketFrogs with my son...

J & C: Please don't procrastinate in life like your mother. Life goes by QUICKLY! An extremely productive man once said don't ever put things off, do them immediately. Why wait?? And because I said I would play PocketFrogs with you over an hour ago, I better take that advice now...
